Strangers on the Train
Strangers on the Train” is a Yuchung Chao’s thesis project. The film tells the story of his paying tribute to “Eter- nal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” by making pilgrimages to locations used in that 2003 film. Surprisingly, he encounters a girl on a train to Montauk who is engaged in a similar quest. As the film progresses, however, the connections between cinema, memory and experience become increasingly uncertain and porous.
